I am a vegetarian by choice for 25 years, and I am concerned about my weight and nutritional balance. Carbo-charged meals are essential for me, as I am actively on the move during work, and have a rather high metabolism. However, this came at a cost to my weight. Moreover, vegetarians lack access to certain vitamins. As a result, I am always feeling lethargic and my performance gets dragged down. Putting the rice intake in control failed as I would shiver if I don’t feel I had taken enough.
I know Richard since Nov 2015. Having seen his transformation, I thought the method he used could be applicable to me too. I approached Corrine and Richard on this educational journey, and learnt many insights into what goes into the body. Old habits die hard, and without a strong conviction or significant event, the lifestyle is not likely to alter. However, this educational and informative journey proved to be a game-changer.
There were some significant breakthroughs for me. I have less vegetarian breakfasts, reduce coffee consumption to 1 cup from 3 daily, do not need to feel full only with rice. And most importantly, I have lost almost 5 kg in 3 months!
It is true that knowledge is empowering. You can choose the food you want, and ultimately also the life you love. I must thank Richard and Corrine for being such hospitable hosts and giving unwavering support for my journey to a healthier life.
